Day 5 | Orewa

We’re off to Orewa today to visit Rosie’s dad and family.

They live in a lovely sea side town north of Auckland. We enjoyed chatting and catching up. A tasty roast chicken lunch shared with family was lovely.

We went for an afternoon stroll to the beach and enjoyed a coffee and some lolly log which is a very NZ sweet, so yum. We also got to check out the local shops.

For dinner we had the quintesential NZ fish and chips with a pineapple fritter. Delish. Then back home for an early night.
