Day 2 | Auckland

We slept in today - well we are on holiday after all.

We had breakfast with Grandad and chatted over a cuppa. Mika showed Grandad how to fly the drone.

Being Chinese New Year there are a few events on around the place, we headed over to the Auckland Showgrounds as they had a festival on.

Angus and Mika were excited to try some delicous food, but after standing in the long queue it sold out 5 people ahead of them. So we decided it was time to head off on another adventure.

We found a camera shop, of course, and broused their large range. Of course it wouldn’t be a trip if we didn’t stop at The Warehouse.

Time to head to Auckland Domain to the museum which of course was closed by the time we got there, but the sun had many more hours - we love daylight saving. We wandered around the park watching the ducks and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

It was time to head home for dinner and a well earned cuppa.

Highlights
