Day 8 | Last day - quick trip to Glenorchy
Today was our last day in Queenstown. It was sad to leave this stunningly beautiful part of the world. It's a definate revisit.
We decided to do a quick trip out to Glenorchy. It was only an hour or so out of town and the views were amazing. There were some amazing vistas and we had to keep on track as we needed to get back to catch our plane home.
Glenorchy is a beautlful place. Only a very small population but wow the views. The mountans - what can I say.
We made it back to the airport without episode. Our bags were at their limit in fact a bit over so after some reshuffling we hugged our family goodbye and boarded our flight home.
Wow what a whirlwind trip but what a blast. I can't wait to get home and look at all the photos again.
