Day 21 | Outlet shopping, New York

Today we took the van up to the Woodbury Common Outlet Stores about 80 km north. Before heading out we had a later start and lolled around in the sunny apartment. Of course, this meant that we were lulled into a false sense of the weather so when we accessed the carpark it was a rude shock. It started out at zero and only varied a little.

About and hour away the trip was the usual array of interchanges and Mario Kart until we entered the Harriman State Park where there were frozen drips of the faces of the road cuttings through the rock. As we are going up it started to snow a little. It’s still pretty.

This Outlet has over 200 stores and like a lot of these places it is an outdoor mall which means outside it is freezing but inside the stores it seems like an oven. As we’ve found – dress in layers. There are lot of international travellers come up to this outlet as it has something for everyone.

Jemmz and McKay had a bit of a break at the bakery and the rest of us had a stop at the sushi train. Everyone got what they needed and it was a good thing that they were open until 9 pm because we didn’t pack it in until 7.

Bit of a quiet one today.

A bit of a change today, we did a quick video as we didn’t really take any photos today.
