Sunrise at The Spit, Gold Coast

The day started at 3.00am with an unwelcome alarm.  We were soon on the road to one of our favourite sunrise shoot locations, The Spit, Gold Coast.

It was a slightly cloudy morning and the sky mainly lightened up rather than a dramatic sunrise but it was still lovely to be there.  We were surprised at the number of other people there at 5.00am.  And as the sun rose the beach just got busier, especially frolicking doggos.

We still managed to capture some stunning colours and the beauty that is the Gold Coast.

As our reward we headed off to have breakfast at The Paddock Bakery in Miami.  The food and service were outstanding.
